Marcos Says Philippines Received’t Resort to Force Amid China Sea Row

Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. says his country is no longer going to resort to power or intimidation nevertheless “stands firm” amid clashes near islands in the South China Sea. On June 17, China Flee Guard officers boarded Philippine rubber boats that had been on a resupply mission to a militia outpost in the 2d Thomas Shoal. Manila accused the Chinese language authorities of seizing weapons, puncturing boats and ramming vessels. Beijing maintains its actions had been skilled and moral.
